Tuition and Financial Aid

As one of Pennsylvania’s most affordable community colleges, we work hard to keep tuition and fees competitive and offer robust scholarship and financial aid opportunities. On average, two years at NCC can save you up to $25,000 per year compared to local four-year schools, so you can invest in your degree and your future.

Earn College Credits for What You Already Know

NCC recognizes that many students come to us with knowledge and expertise already in hand. Qualified high school graduates can earn college credit for programs completed in high school by transferring credits from their Career and Technical School through one of our established articulation agreements.

Other pathways for possible prior learning credit include military service, AP or IB exams, on-the-job training or certifications, apprenticeships, or participation in a non-credit program.

Future Career Paths

As populations increase and age, we need competent professionals who can provide health services, educate the public, and meet community health needs. This growing demand for workers yields expanding and reliable work opportunities. The Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates nearly 1.9 million healthcare-related jobs over the next decade. While employment rates vary, pursuing a future in the health service industry offers stability and room for career growth.

Although some roles may require a bachelor's degree, a major in health sciences prepares you for careers such as:
