Guest/Visiting Student Admissions
Northampton Community College

Apply to NCC - Guest/Visiting Students

If you are currently enrolled at another college/university and plan on taking courses at NCC to have credits transfer back to your home institution, you are considered a guest/visiting student.

NCC offers fall courses (14, 10 and 7-week terms), spring courses (14, 10 and 7-week terms), winter courses (4-week term) and summer courses (4, 6 and 10-week terms).

Guest/visiting students are eligible to register for any of these terms. Open registration for the fall typically begins in late April or early May. Open registration for spring, winter and summer courses typically begins in late October or early November.

The Application Process

All Guest/Visiting students whether they are new or returning will need to complete our online application process. Start by creating an account in our Workday Admissions Portal.

If you are new to NCC, you should select "Non-Degree" as your Applicant Type and "Guest/Visiting Student" as your Program of Study.

If you are returning to NCC, you should select "Re-Admit" as your Applicant Type and "Guest/Visiting Student" as your program of study.

Before you register for courses, make sure to contact your advisor to determine course transferability to your institution. You may also choose to meet with an Academic Advisor at either your full time college/university or with an advisor at NCC.

Additionally, if you plan to register for courses that have prerequsites, NCC will need transcripts from your current college to help determine placement. Transcripts can be sent from authorized senders to transcripts@northampton.edu.

You can check the status of your application anytime and keep track of outstanding requirements by logging into your Admissions & Financial Aid Portal.
