Career Outcomes for Sonographers

As our healthcare system grows and becomes increasingly important, diagnostic medical sonographers provide non-invasive care and play a vital role in helping individuals monitor their health. Sonographers use specialized ultrasound equipment to produce detailed images of internal body structures and diagnose medical conditions.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the employment of diagnostic medical sonographers to grow by 11% by 2033, nearly three times faster than the average for all occupations. Additionally, sonographers earn a median annual income of $84,470. • Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Vascular Technologist (RVT)
  • Echocardiographer (RDCS)
  • Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Student Spotlight

The instructors are all amazing. There were times when I questioned myself, whether this was the right choice for me, and I wanted so badly to give up. But I had them rooting for me, saying, ‘What can I do to help? How can I make this better for you?’ They weren’t just there to teach the material and go home. They were really there to advocate for us and make sure we had everything we needed to be successful.
