Student Senate may also take on special projects or initiatives to advocate on behalf of students at the college.
Membership is open to any currently enrolled part-time or full-time student at the Bethlehem or Pocono campuses. All Student Senators must maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) to remain on Student Senate and be in good disciplinary standing with the college.
Student Senate consists of 15 members. 12 of these representatives are General Student Senators who represent the Bethlehem campus at-large. 1 Student Senator is designated to represent the online campus and virtual students. 1 Student Senator is elected to represent part-time or non-traditional students and at least 1 Student Senator is elected to represent first-year students with less than 26 credits.
