Lieutenant Nathan Ramos
Lieutenant Ramos has worked with the Department of Public Safety since 2006. Having worked his way up the ranks within the department, he has held the rank of Corporal and Sergeant before being promoted to his current rank of Lieutenant. In this capacity he reports to the Chief of Public Safety and oversees the patrol functions of the department, where his responsibilities include scheduling, special events, fleet management, equipment and training.
From 2012 to 2020 Lt. Ramos served as an elected Pennsylvania State Constable in Northampton County. He has also served in public safety with other higher education institutions and medical facilities in the Lehigh Valley. Lt. Ramos is certified as an Emergency Medical Responder through the PA Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. Some of his other certifications include the D. Stafford & Associates - Clery Act Compliance Training Academy, and the NCC Center for Business & industry – management certificate program.
