Public Safety Officers
The Northampton Community College Department of Public Safety is under the leadership of the Chief of Public Safety, who reports to the Executive Director of Government Relations & Public Safety. He is supported by two Sergeants as part of his command staff. The department is open and staffed 24 hours a day/7 days a week at the Bethlehem Campus, and during normal operational hours at the Pocono and Fowler campuses. The department is staffed by twelve full-time officers, ten part-time officers, a Training & Equipment Coordinator, an administrative assistant and two part-time dispatchers. Our officers patrol all campuses day and night by foot and car, covering over 27 buildings, including student housing, spread out over 270 acres.
