Chief Keith Morris
Chief Morris has 27 years of law enforcement experience in both municipal and university settings. His law enforcement career started with the Allentown Police Department where he proudly served for 20 years, rising through the ranks before being named Chief of Police in 2015. As Chief he had oversight for 222 police officers, the third largest department in the State of Pennsylvania, covering all facets of policing.
When he retired from the City of Allentown, he was hired as the Chief of Police Operations for Penn State University. Stationed at the main campus at University Park, PA, he was responsible for the police operations at Penn State's 22 campuses across the State of Pennsylvania overseeing 140 police officers. Some of his responsibilities included overseeing football game day policing operations, concerts and special events, student auxiliary and access control.
His education consists of a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Penn State University and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from DeSales University. Chief Morris also had the privilege of attending the FBI National Academy Police Executive School in Quantico Virginia, as well as the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.
Chief Morris was hired as the Chief of Public Safety here at NCC in March of 2019, and has worked hard to professionalize the Department of Public Safety.
