1. Be able to apply the principles and functions of management to a sport management related venue.
2. Be able to use sport marketing knowledge to construct and implement a comprehensive plan for a collegiate event as a member of a planning group.
3. Be able to use both current and historical data in order to make a connection between sport and societal issues.
4. Students will design a cohesive integrated marketing communications campaign, effectively combining the marketing mix elements of product, price, promotion and place (distribution).
