Description
This course reinforces legal research skills previously learned and further demonstrates the application and knowledge to synthesize information and research results into practical legal writing exercises. Students will become familiar with basic legal writing principles and the incorporation of legal research results into traditional writing exercises in the IRAC (Issue, Rule, Analysis and Conclusion) method of legal writing such as case briefs, legal research memoranda and attorney-supervised traditional persuasive court required writings (such as but not limited to memos and briefs etc.) to develop advocacy and communication skills. Prereq.- ENGL151L and PARL101.
