Description

Actors learn the art and language of images, imagination, physical creativity, and physical comedy. The student will learn to keep the body well-tuned, as well as learning how to create physical characterization. International and diverse techniques that will be explored: Jacques Lecoq, Keith Johnstone, Vsevelod Meyerhold, Tadashi Suzuki, Viewpoints, Jerzy Grotowski, Eugenio Barba, Jacques Copeau, Adolphe Appia, Edward Gordan Craig, neutral/character mask work, stage combat, clown/circus skills, improvisation, and embodied storytelling.
