Narrative

The AAS degree in Information Security will prepare students with the technical knowledge and skills needed to protect and defend computer systems and networks. Students will plan, implement, and monitor networking and security systems to help ensure the protection of information technology assets. Additionally, students identify, analyze, and remediate computer security breaches. Extensive hands-on lab time with real and current equipment will prepare you for a successful career as a Systems Auditor, Network Security Analyst, and Security System Engineer.

Career Potential:Information Assurance Specialist, Vulnerability Tester, Cyber Security Analyst, Security Technologist, or similar.
