“NCC’s Leadership Lehigh Valley (LLV) program provided an opportunity to learn how to lead in my workplace(s) and in my community.  Our great instructor (Ann!), the diverse class roster, and practical self-assessments helped me identify and understand my leadership strengths and style and how I can build and leverage those skills to positively impact my colleagues and neighbors. The program guided me to consider my community and its residents and how I can support my community through Board service and other volunteerism efforts.  LLV broadened my understanding of the many facets impacting the Lehigh Valley and its inhabitants. This view enabled me to better recognize and empathize with my colleagues and neighbors who may be experiencing consequences (positive and negative) of governmental regulations, varying quality of life levels, healthcare changes, and education structures and opportunities.  Learning about these facets, related opportunities to serve, and the available resources helped me realize how we can connect people with information and support to live healthy lives.” – Leah Holmes, HR Administrative Services Manager, C.F. Martin & Co., Inc.

“As a staff employee at Northampton Community College, the experience of participating in Leadership Lehigh Valley gave me the opportunity to understand, get involved in, and support the Lehigh Valley community in which I live, work, and play.  LLV also provided additional insights into the dedication and service that NCC is committed to for our students and community partners. The synergistic network of business, education, community, healthcare, government and quality of life was exemplified with great clarity through this program, and helped me advance and grow not only professionally but personally within my work and civil life.” – Shelly Mulé, Business Development Sales Professional, Northampton Community College
