Transform your passion for colors, patterns, lights, and spaces into influential designs and intentional environments through Northampton Community College’s Interior Design Associate in Applied Sciences (A.A.S.) degree, Specialized Diploma, and Kitchen and Bath Design Specialized Diploma.
We’re notable among interior design schools in PA for our accessible, high-value program. You’ll use state-of-the-art design stations, technology, and software, including Sketch Up, ArchiCAD, and AutoCAD; your professors will be members of the American Institute of Architects and American Society of Interior Designers; and you’ll enrich your education in field studies and trips with the student chapter of the American Institute of Architects. In the four-semester design studio sequence, you will build on your knowledge of architectural history and modern interior design to develop and execute your original design ideas. You’ll graduate with the tools you need to start your career or transfer to a four-year institution.
These flexible programs offer full-time or part-time study with daytime or evening class options. Offered on our Bethlehem campus, the programs prepare you to launch your career as an interior designer or to transfer to a four-year institution for further study.
