What You’ll Learn
Through the Electromechanical Technology program, you understand how automated technology and instrumentation apply to industrial manufacturing settings. You will explore areas such as:- Mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair practices.
- Control and instrumentation aspects of industrial automation.
- Configuring and troubleshooting automated systems.
- Use of standard hand tools, power tools, mechanics tools and measurement equipment in adherence to OSHA safety standards for servicing industrial equipment.
- Operating and maintaining typical pneumatic and hydraulic systems and basic mechanical components found in machinery related to equipment in industrial maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and solving industry-related problems by analyzing and presenting data in an acceptable and standardized manner with proficient research and computer data-gathering skills.
