Essentials of Biology
Description
This course is designed to build skills necessary to prepare students for higher level courses in the allied health fields, particularly anatomy and physiology I and human biology. Topics covered include biochemistry, cell structure and function, cell metabolism, cell division, molecular biology and human genetics. This course is not intended for biology majors. Not more than one of BIOS105, BIOS107, or BIOS115 may count for credit towards the same degree. Core: SCI.
