Plays: Live Theatre Experience

Description

Students witness theatre productions through reading the plays and watching the productions live at NCC and/or other theatres/virtual media. Through lectures, discussions, and written assignments, the course examines the appeal and ingredients of live theatrical presentations and the script that it uses. Focus will be on plays and musicals in the NCC Theatre Season and will include, but are not limited to classical and contemporary plays from the global majority, musicals, cabarets, theatre for young audiences, immersive theatre, devised theatre, new works, and works written and directed by students. Additional Course Fee.
